ABV Contractors Co., based in Willoughby, Ohio, has been a family-owned and operated business since 1974. Founded by brothers Valerio and Bruno Frabotta, the company carries the name ABV to honor their father Alberto, who was their mentor. The Frabotta family emigrated from Rionero Sannitico in Italy, and their foray into the contracting industry began during a time when few small firms existed. Initially focused on concrete work and residential yard drainage, the brothers gradually specialized in their respective fields, enabling them to expand their service offerings over the decades. Valerio shifted his focus to residential concrete and basement waterproofing, while Bruno specialized in commercial excavation and demolition.
In 1989, Cesare Frabotta, the youngest brother, joined the company equipped with an engineering degree, which significantly enhanced ABV’s capacity for estimating and engineering services. Mike Frabotta, Valerio’s son, joined the family business in 2010, bringing a passion for construction and management skills gained through his education at The University of Akron.
Today, ABV Contractors Co. provides a range of services, including basement waterproofing, foundation repairs, sewer line repair and installation, as well as sewer jet cleaning.
