Brent Scarbrough & Company Inc. (BSC) was established in 1985 by Brent Scarbrough while he was still a student at Southern Polytechnic State University. What began as a modest erosion control company has evolved into one of the largest heavy civil site contractors in Georgia. With over 37 years of expertise, BSC specializes in a variety of services including clearing, grubbing, grading, boring, and managing underground utilities such as storm, sewer, and water systems.
The company boasts a dedicated team of managers, field supervisors, foremen, operators, mechanics, and an exceptional administrative staff, all of whom are key to BSC's success. Their ability to handle complex projects has allowed the company to extend its services throughout the southeastern United States, making significant contributions in the industrial, commercial, residential, and renewable energy sectors. Some of their notable projects include healthcare facilities, multi-family residences, data centers, manufacturing plants, government buildings, and solar energy fields.
In a significant move in 2017, Brent Scarbrough sold the company to its employees, transforming BSC into a 100% employee-owned enterprise.
