Founded in 1937 by Cliff Buzick, Buzick Construction Inc. has established itself as a premier construction firm specialized in the bourbon industry. Initially launched in Bardstown, KY, the company began as a response to the needs of distillery equipment customers who lacked installation services. The company's first significant project came in 1941 with the construction of a barrel storage warehouse for the Fairfield Distillery, establishing Buzick as the go-to contractor for barrel warehouses in the region. Under the leadership of Donald Buzick and his son-in-law Tom Blincoe, Buzick Construction has not only built over 5.73 million barrel storage spaces for the Kentucky bourbon industry since 2000 but also modernized construction methods, introducing machine-aided processes that enhance safety and cost efficiency.
