Carpinteria Plumbing Company, established in 1929 by the Furby brothers, has a long-standing history of serving the Carpinteria Valley. Over the years, the company has transitioned through various ownerships, with Louis (Buzz) Gann taking over the business after the Furby brothers. George Hansen became involved with the company in 1954 and eventually bought Buzz's share to become the sole owner in 1971, continuing to maintain the strong reputation of the business. Following George, Oscar A. Loretto purchased Carpinteria Plumbing in 1987, bringing with him extensive experience from his previous roles in Los Angeles and at UCSB. Oscar’s son, Tim, joined the company after completing his plumbing apprenticeship and becoming a licensed plumber in 2008. Today, they are supported by family friend Ryan Caudillo. Together, they uphold the legacy of local, honest, and timely plumbing services that the community has come to rely on.
