Cobb Environmental & Technical Services, Inc. (CETS) was established on April 17, 1997, by Brian Cobb, who brought with him 20 years of extensive experience in environmental practices, having worked in various firms and as a manager for a national convenience store chain. Based in Tupelo, MS, CETS boasts a diverse team of Professional Geologists, Professional Engineers, technicians, and expert petroleum specialists dedicated to addressing environmental challenges faced by a varied clientele, which includes governmental agencies, retail establishments, commercial entities, and institutions across the Southern United States.
CETS has significantly contributed to the fuel system construction sector since September 1997 by securing a contract with a leading convenience store chain to implement upgrades to their underground storage tanks in compliance with the 1998 EPA mandates. This initial endeavor led to successful upgrades, which were completed ahead of the December 1998 deadline. The company's commitment to safety and efficient service has positioned it as a prominent contractor among major retail chains, including Walmart, Kroger, Costco, and Murphy USA. In 1998, CETS marked another milestone by constructing its first gas station for Sam’s Club in Jackson, Tennessee.
Continuing to expand its reach, CETS established an office in Memphis, TN, in July 2015 to enhance support for its growing customer base in Western Tennessee and Eastern Arkansas. With expertise that spans construction and environmental services, CETS provides comprehensive solutions, including fueling system installations for convenience stores, airport fueling facilities, and large retail fuel centers. Their focus on workplace safety, adherence to environmental regulations, and a strong track record of accomplishing projects within deadlines make them an established name in their field.
