Description

Founded in 1983, Cox Masonry Inc. has established itself as a respected contractor in commercial masonry construction throughout Tucson and Southern Arizona. The company originates from the rich legacy of the Cox family, which has been involved in the masonry industry for over a century. Great Grandfather Frank J. Cox began the family’s journey in the bricklaying profession in the late 1800s, and his descendants including James and Thomas Cox have continued this tradition by building a successful business.

Cox Masonry focuses primarily on commercial projects but has also ventured into residential construction. The company prides itself on upholding high-quality workmanship, a principle that has been transgenerational within the Cox family. Having completed over 400 projects over the years, Cox Masonry has worked on a diverse array of structures including buildings for the University of Arizona, government facilities, banks, hotels, and shopping centers.

Collaborating with various general contractors, both local and from out of state, Cox Masonry provides competitive bidding options and is open to partnering on CM at Risk projects. Their expertise spans multiple masonry specialties such as brick, block, stone, and precast concrete, as well as insulated concrete form (ICF) walls and historic masonry preservation.

Today, Cox Masonry continues to honor the legacy of quality and craftsmanship established by previous generations, making it a prominent force in the Southern Arizona masonry community.
