Don Mintz Builders, LLC is a family-owned construction company based in Saluda, NC, established in 1986. The founder, Don Mintz, began his journey in the construction industry under the tutelage of his father, John Francis Mintz, a builder known for his dedication to quality craftsmanship and hard work. From a young age, Don acquired invaluable hands-on experience in various aspects of construction, including framing, roofing, and cabinetry. After proudly serving in the Marine Corps, he further honed his skills by working alongside his brothers in residential and commercial construction projects for 18 years.
With a vision to provide exceptional service and build homes that embody pride and quality workmanship, Don obtained his General Contractor’s License and built his first spec house, which sold quickly, marking the beginning of his successful venture in home building. Over the years, the company has focused on custom home construction, renovations, and other building projects, ensuring a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
In response to the evolving market needs, Don's son, Sean Mintz, joined the company after earning a Degree in Business Management and obtaining his NASCLA Contractor’s License. Sean has taken on significant management roles within the firm and is poised to continue the family tradition of excellence in construction.
