EvCo Contracting, LLC, founded in 2010 by Shane Everitt and his wife Jolene, has quickly established itself as a trusted name in the heavy civil construction industry. Originally known as Everitt Welding, Inc. (EWI), the company began in Pinedale, Wyoming, focusing on pipeline welding and heavy civil construction projects. Over the years, it expanded significantly, growing its workforce from 5 to over 100 employees, and managing over 200 subcontractors across multiple locations, including Pinedale, Jal, and Odessa.
In 2018, recognizing the volatile nature of the oil and gas industry, EvCo pivoted from pipeline contracting to a broader focus on heavy civil horizontal and vertical construction. This strategic transition included the successful construction of RV parks in prime locations, such as McCamey, Texas, amidst the energy boom. By 2021, they officially rebranded to EvCo Contracting and gained contractor status as a heavy civil construction company in Texas.
