We are proud to be recognized as a certified 8(a) graduate, Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), and hold various additional certifications, such as being a Woman-Owned Business through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Currently, GCJ is co-owned by Ginger Sepulveda, Marcus Gowan, and Derek Scalise, who together bring over 65 years of construction industry experience to the company.
In December 2023, GCJ Inc. expanded its capabilities by acquiring all employees and clients from Gowan Construction, further enriching our team and expertise within the construction sector. We adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and safety as a signatory to the Northern California Carpenters Union, maintaining a skilled workforce that includes up to twenty carpenters at any given time.
Our qualifications enable us to offer a range of services including rough and finish carpentry, framing, as well as the installation of doors, windows, hardware, concrete, and drywall. Our commitment to safety is evident as all our employees possess OSHA 10 certifications, while our supervisors are OSHA 30 certified. We also employ certified USACE/NAVFAC Qualified Construction Managers (QCM), ensuring quality and performance in every project we undertake.
