Goodrich Floor Coverings, Inc. has been a cornerstone of the flooring industry in Salt Lake City, UT, since its establishment in June 1995. Founded by Craig Goodrich, the company emerged from his experience in the closet organizer business, where he identified a significant need for flooring solutions among his clients. Taking a leap of faith, Craig leased a retail space to meet this growing demand, quickly gaining contracts with multiple apartment communities within his first year.
As the business flourished, Goodrich Floor Coverings moved to larger spaces to accommodate its expansion. By 2004, they had begun servicing substantial contracts with builders, marking a significant milestone in their ability to provide both carpet and hard surface flooring solutions. The vision of owning a dedicated building came to fruition in 2005 when they renovated a custom retail and warehouse location, enabling them to showcase an extensive range of products including carpet, tile, laminate, and hardwood.
In 2016, the opportunity arose to purchase a well-known local building to support their continued growth, and by 2019, a new warehouse was completed to further bolster their operations. Goodrich Floor Coverings prides itself on being a family-run business, with Craig’s family involved since the beginning, showcasing a commitment to quality service and community.
Tragically, in December 2023, Craig passed away, but his legacy continues as his wife and daughters take the reins of the business, dedicated to honoring his memory. With a reputation for exceptional flooring solutions and community service, Goodrich Floor Coverings stands as a testament to hard work, family values, and an enduring commitment to customer satisfaction.
