JD Contractors, LLC, established in 2000 by Joe and Jackie Doub in Asheboro, NC, has built a solid reputation in the commercial concrete construction industry. A significant portion of their work involves military projects at Ft. Bragg, including notable constructions such as the SOF Battalion Operations Facility, the Aerial Gunnery Range, the Army Reserve Center, and the NCO Academy. In addition to military installations, JD Contractors has also contributed to community facilities, like the new VA Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The company faced a tragic turn of events in March 2018 when founder Joe Doub passed away in an automobile accident. In 2019, the business was acquired by his friend Eric Brokmeyer and his wife Julia, which led to relocating the office to Southern Pines, NC.
