Originally named Kaylor’s Electric, the company transitioned to Kaylor & Son Electric when Jay’s son, Talmage Kaylor, joined the family business in 1983. After the retirement of both Jay and Talmage, John and Renee’ Wiley took the helm of Kaylor Electric, carrying on the legacy of quality and service expected in the Rogue Valley.
John Wiley, who joined the team as an apprentice in 1994, rose through the ranks to become a journeyman in 1995 and obtained his Supervisor’s License in 2018. Under John’s leadership, Kaylor Electric remains committed to adhering to national and state safety codes while delivering exceptional service tailored to both residential and commercial clients.
The company specializes in various services, including new construction, remodeling, troubleshooting and repair of electrical issues, general maintenance, and energy-efficient solutions like LED retrofitting and custom lighting designs. Despite recent challenges, including the loss of their building in the Phoenix fire, Kaylor Electric continues to operate and serve its community with dedication.
