Founded in 1982 by Bill Ross, Lake Shore Electric Inc. is a family-operated electrical contracting business based in Yakima, Washington. Initially established with a vision to create a family-oriented enterprise, the company has grown to encompass multiple generations of the Ross family, with Bill's daughter Shelley joining the business in 1998. As the business evolved, Bill Ross Jr. and Shelley took over leadership roles after Bill Sr.'s retirement in 2004, with Shelley managing the financial and operational aspects as a CPA, while Bill Jr. focused on estimating, AutoCAD design, and project management. The team has grown to include seasoned professionals such as Eric Roberts, who oversees UL Listing requirements, and James Beckett, who transitioned from foreman to project management, bringing over two decades of experience.
