Founded in 1989 by Bryan Lloyd in Tucson, LCI Commercial Construction Company has built a substantial reputation over the decades, particularly in Southern Arizona. After pausing operations in 1993 to join Lloyd Construction Company, which was established by his family in 1969, Bryan returned to relaunch LCI in 2013, bringing nearly 30 years of experience along with him. LCI operates under multiple contracting methods, including Construction Manager at Risk (CMR), in which they partner with design teams early in the process, enhancing project efficiency through estimating, constructability reviews, and value engineering. This method has been utilized by the company since it was approved in Arizona for public agencies in 2000. LCI also embraces the Design-Build approach, allowing owners to select a combined contractor and architect team to streamline project completion. Additionally, the traditional Design/Bid/Build method is employed as well, enabling competitive bidding post-design completion.
