Founded in 1984 by Malcolm 'Mackie' Reaux in Broussard, Louisiana, Mackie Reaux Construction, Inc. (MRC) has established itself as a reputable general contractor specializing in a variety of commercial projects, including restaurants, retail complexes, and medical/dental care facilities. Mackie Reaux, with his extensive background in drafting and project management, started the company to build empowering workspaces for entrepreneurs. Over the years, he effectively managed all aspects of construction, from initial design collaboration to ensuring spaces were move-in ready.
After Mackie's retirement in 2003, his son, Ryan Reaux, took over as President & CEO and continued to modernize the company by integrating advanced technologies such as AutoCAD for design processes and computerized operations. This evolution has significantly improved efficiency and growth for MRC.
In 2013, Allison Reaux joined the team, contributing her skills in business development, which further propelled MRC to a national presence. MRC is renowned for its Design-to-Build approach, functioning as a one-stop shop that self-performs most general contracting tasks while only subcontracting specialized trades like mechanical and electrical work. This model allows MRC to maintain a competitive edge by providing direct oversight and quality control across various projects.
With over 500 projects completed and numerous others currently underway, Mackie Reaux Construction prides itself on delivering high-quality construction services while emphasizing safety as a paramount concern. The company operates across Louisiana and several other states, equipped to handle diverse construction challenges while focusing on client satisfaction and creating quality work environments.
