Before establishing his own firm, Rich worked as both a framing and finish carpenter, as well as managing a cement foundation construction crew. This practical experience enriches his architectural practice, enabling him to create designs that not only appeal aesthetically but are also well-thought-out in terms of construction detail and feasibility. Rich is currently licensed to practice architecture in both Alaska and Texas and is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
