Initially purchased by Cliff Freeman and James Newlun in 1999, Sun Glass transitioned into a true family-run entity under the Freeman legacy when Cliff and his son, Clint, took over in 2008.

Most recently, in 2021, it welcomed Pagosa Glass into its family, further solidifying its presence in Colorado.
